  • Ben & Jerry's Foundation

    Deadline: Opens  Aug. 3rd – Deadline Oct. 15th, 5pm ET 2018.  

     

    One-year grants of up to $20,000 will be awarded to nonprofit grassroots community-organizing groups in the United States working to further social and environmental justice and support sustainable and just-food systems. Grants can be used to support both program and operational costs.

     

     

  • Natalie W. Furniss Foundation Grants

    Deadline: November 1

     

    Funding to support organizations and humane societies that work to prevent cruelty to animals. Six grants are distributed each year with an average size of $3,000.

 

  • Best Buy Foundation

    Deadline: Proposal must be submitted no later than 5:00pm EDT on Sunday, November 1, 2015

     

    Funding to nonprofits that work to build skill proficiency in technology through out-of-school programs.

 

  • Mary Allen Lindsey Branan Foundation Grants

      Deadline: May 1 and November 1

 

    Funding to support organizations that promote the relief of suffering and other

    charitable purposes — for example, for the victims of floods and disasters, or for the care

    of the sick, feeble, helpless, and orphans.

    Deadline: September 30

     

    Funding opportunities for organizations that assistance for people who are incapable of supporting themselves due to accident, disease, or old age.

 

  • Coca-Cola Foundation Education Grants

    Deadline: Applications accepted year-round

     

    The Coca-Cola Foundation’s Healthy and Active Lifestyle program seeks to fund organizations that support scholarships, school drop-out prevention, access to education programs, and other education initiatives, per local business unit priorities.

  • The Anne E. Talcott Fund

    Deadline: July 22

     

    Funding for organizations working on projects exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, literary or educational purposes, as well as for testing for public safety, or for the prevention of cruelty to children or animals. Special consideration will be given to organizations that aid the indigent.

 

  • Fluor Foundation

    Deadline: Applications accepted year-round

     

    Funding to support organizations that provide food, shelter and prevention programs and emergency services.

 

  • Mary Allen Lindsey Branan Foundation

    Deadline: May 1 and November 1

  • Child Welfare Foundation

    Deadline:  Applications are accepted from May 1 to be postmarked no later than July 15, of the current year.

     

    Funding to support organizations that seek to contribute to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual welfare of children through the dissemination of knowledge.

 

 

  • PNC Foundation Economic Development Grant

    Deadline: Applications Accepted Year-Round via Online Application Process

     

    Funding to organizations that support economic development in communities. Priority is given to community development initiatives that strategically promote the growth of targeted low-and moderate-income communities and/or provide services to these communities.

 

  • Ford Foundation Human Rights Grant

      Deadline: Applications accepted year-round

 

      Funding to support organizations that help vulnerable populations gain access to the           social, political and cultural institutions that govern their rights. Requests are

    accepted in categories such as project planning and support; general support; and

    endowments.

 

  • Joseph H. Stahlberg Foundation Grants

    Deadline: August 31

     

    Funding to support organizations that engage in medical, psychiatric, or psychological research and must not be associated with a particular religion. Preference may be given to research related to dementia, autism, or Alzheimer’s disease.

 

  • Water Stewardship

    Deadline: Applications accepted year-round

     

    Funding for organizations that support access to clean water and sanitation, watershed protection in water-stressed regions, utilization of water for production and or multiple use systems that do more than provide clean drinking water, education and awareness programs that promote water conservation within communities and industry.

 

  • The Kresge Foundation

    Deadline: Applications accepted year-round

     

    Funding for organizations that are focused on improving the health of low-income and vulnerable populations.

 

  • Nina Heard Astin Charitable Trust Grants

    Deadline: July 31

     

    Funding to organizations that operate in a variety of areas, including arts, education, environment, health, and human services.

 

  • Cullum Foundation Grants

    Deadline: Applications are accepted year-round, but must be submitted by April 1 to be reviewed for a grant during the current year.

     

    Funding to organizations that promote the education of young people, the support and maintenance of churches, and the improvement or relief from disease of needy persons.

 

  • Ford Foundation

    Deadline: November 1

     

    Funding to support policies that ensure equal access to all media platforms, promotes social justice content in media and fosters documentary films that explore the social justice issues on which the Foundation focuses. 

     

  • W.K. Kellogg Foundation

    Funding to organizations that seek to build economic security for vulnerable children and their families through sustained income and asset accumulation.

 

  • Union Bank Foundation Affordable Housing Grant

    Funding to support organizations that provide affordable housing to people in need.

    Funding to support organizations that operate in the areas of education and health.

 

  • Hearst Foundation Culture Grants

    Deadline: Applications Accepted Year-Round via Online Application Process

     

    Funding to support cultural institutions that offer meaningful programs in the arts and sciences. In particular, the Foundation will prioritize projects which enable engagement by young people and create a lasting impression. Funding consideration will also be given to select programs nurturing and developing artistic talent.

 

 

  • ASPCA Grants

    Deadline:  Apply antime.  The ASPCA only accepts proposals through its online application system.

     

    Funding to support animal welfare and advocacy.

 

  • Childhood and Youth Development Grants HCA Foundation 

      Deadline: Applications accepted year-round

 

    Funding to support d organizations that have programs that promote health and well

    being. Examples of proposals include Programs that promote basic health and human

    needs such as healthcare, housing and food, as well as higher levels of mental and

    physical wellness. Grants are awarded based on the type of grant request, operational,         program, or capital, and on the size of the operating budget of applicant organizations.

 

  • Mazda Foundation

    Deadline: May 1 through July 1.

     

    Funding for organizations with programs that promote education and literacy, environmental conservation, cross-cultural understanding, social welfare, or scientific research.
